What to do when your garage door breaks
- Stop using the opener.
- Keep people, pets and cars away from the door.
- If it’s closed, leave it closed and unplug the opener.
- If it’s open and won’t close, don’t pull it down by hand if it feels heavy or crooked.
- Call and describe what you see and hear.

What counts as an emergency on Sunday?
A door stuck open that you can’t secure, a car you need trapped in the garage, a door hanging off the track, or a commercial gate that won’t close. Other repairs are scheduled Monday to Friday.
Do your coupons apply to every job?
We offer 10% off any installation, 10% off any repair, $15 off the service call and $10 off a tune-up. Mention the coupon when you call.
What does the warranty cover?
The parts we supply and our labor — 4 years on repairs and 6 years on new door and opener installations. Manufacturer warranties on doors and openers come on top.
Which garage door brands do you install?
Doors from Clopay, Amarr, Wayne Dalton and CHI; openers from LiftMaster, Chamberlain and Genie.
Why is my garage door so loud?
Worn steel rollers, dry hinges and bearings, a loose chain or a spring near the end of its life. A tune-up and nylon rollers fix most noisy doors.
My remote stopped working but the wall button works. What now?
Try a fresh battery first. If that doesn’t help, the remote may need reprogramming or replacing — we program LiftMaster, Chamberlain and Genie remotes and keypads.
Can you fix a garage door that was hit by a car?
Usually. Depending on the damage we replace one or more sections, straighten or replace the track and re-balance the door. If the door can’t be saved, we price a new one.
